Programs - SSNRadioAimDuring my Dad’s trip to Singapore a few years ago, my dad bought a radio card. Incidentally the same card that now gets fitted to the fancy Packard Bell. The program that gets supplied with the card is pretty lame and although it looks nice - yes, I’m using nice on purpose - it doesn’t allow entering of a frequency directly, neither does it allow stations to have names. This program solves both problems and more. MethodThe base communicating module was written in Turbo Pascal, compiled as a dll, and renamed to drv file. The reason that I could write this program alone was that supplied with the card was a command line utility that I could debug and find out what it was doing. Once I figured out how to talk to the card, I just had to program it into Pascal.
